Tuesday - Gratitude Blocks Stress!

At Vale, we start each meeting with Gratitude and Growth.  These two things are extremely important in life. It is said that you cannot be grateful and stressed out at the same time.  I think this is true and find myself constantly looking for the amazing things and people that I am surrounded by on a daily basis.  This keeps me optimistic and focused on the good rather than the bad.  


This year I set out to write 365 thank you notes.  1 per day of the year. While I am not sure I will accomplish this task, I feel, any step towards it and sharing gratitude will raise the spirits of another person.


I challenge you today to write down 10 things that you are thankful for.  After that think about 1 person that has helped you and what that meant to you.  If it helps, write it as a thank you note and send it to them to share that cheer.


We can learn to be grateful and share gratitude, it is an energy that can move from person to person kind of like the CoronaVirus.  We should choose to spread gratitude instead of Covid-19.

Today I am thankful for a platform to share what I am thinking about and able to stay connected with my community when in the past it wasn’t so easy.  I choose to think about all the good in my life and in the world!
