Mike Cunningham

Mike Cunningham has joined the Vale Sports Club as its newly appointed Chief Operating Officer.

At Vale, Mike has also joined the coaching staff in support of the 2015 girls club while overseeing the operations of the organization as a whole.

The Vale role comes after serving as an Athletic Director in the Shoreline Conference and a variety of roles in education for 15 years. Holding two master’s degrees in educational leadership; Mike has taught Health/Wellness and Physical Education to Pre-K – HS aged students.

Mike attempted to join Vale solely in a leadership capacity, but lasted about a week before he dove into the opportunity to get back into coaching. His passion to connect with student-athletes stem from coaching for 20 years in MS/HS Baseball, MS/HS Soccer and Basketball.  Mike also is the President of the little league in town during his “free” time.

Mike resides in Higganum, CT with his wife Suzie and two children; Charley (10) and Rhett (7).
