Vale Newell’s will no longer be a supplemental program and will instead be a players sole team in 2025/26. Players have the opportunity to tryout for both a Vale Newell’s team or a Vale Branch team in Middletown, East or West. Our goal is to provide every player with the right team environment that aligns with their development goals.

Vale Newell’s Directors and Coaching staff will assess players to allow for a fair and
thorough evaluation of all players. 2013 Boys and Girls will also have ID clinic opportunities.

Yes. All players will receive an email from us if they have been selected or not selected. Vale
Newell’s will provide this information no later than 24-48 hours after the tryout.

If we believe the necessary talent and potential is there we will look to build squads of the following sizes.

11v11 MS & HS Teams (2011/2010/2009/2008/2007/2006) we will look to create a roster of
no more than 18-22 players per age.

2011 Players who are eligible to play because they are still in MS are welcomed into our 2012 teams and will train/play with our 2012 teams until HS season is over and 2011 teams start up. Please be sure to make Vale Directors and Coaches know about this ahead of tryouts. Please note that if the team is a National League team you will not be eligible for games per League rules but may be eligible for tournaments.

Vale Newell’s is looking for players who are committed to developing to be the best version of themselves. This takes a commitment to training and gameplay consistently throughout the soccer calendar year. Vale is looking for players who are ready to commit to their craft consistently throughout the year.

The Forge in Middletown CT. Our new state of the art facility has 2 full size 11v11 fields and additional training space. This is also home to team rooms and other facilities on site. A central hub for players and families to feel at home.

Vale Newell’s teams compete in Regional leagues . Currently our program is in the USYS National League. The club is always exploring opportunities to play in additional
competitions available to our young organization.

Vale Newell’s will introduce players to elite tournaments in the USA. Examples are the
Jefferson Cup, Disney Showcase, IMG, SUSA. EDP Fall Showcase and more. Our goal is to
position our players for maximum exposure to college coaches and international scouts.
