Our College Educational ID Clinic is designed for ambitious high school players - looking to take the next step in their development and college recruitment pathway.

This 2-day summer clinic includes U23 Men's on-field training, college-style ID sessions, CT Rush USL-2 exposure, and (NCAA Coaches) recruiting education, where players will gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to compete at the next level, and promote themselves in the recruiting process.

What To Expect

NCAA College Coaches Speaker Series

Players will hear directly from experienced college coaches and recruiting professionals about the college recruitment process, expectations, communication strategies, and their pathway planning.

Speakers include:

Vale Men's U23, CT Rush USL 2 & UPSL Exposure

Players will gain access to Vale SC's pre-professional Men's pathway - via exposure to the Vale Men’s U23 training sessions, USL2 CT Rush and UPSL training environments. Participants will experience firsthand the standards, training intensity, and expectations required to progress toward the professional game at these levels.

Residential Academy Introduction

Participants and families will receive early insight into Vale’s future Residential Academy model in alignment with Xavier High School, beginning in 2027. This initiative will provide a full-year developmental and educational environment designed for serious student-athletes pursuing high-level soccer and academic opportunities.

2:00 - 3:00: Colin McComb Pathfinder
3:00 - 3:30: head to fields prepare for session
3:30 - 5:30: USL-2 style training session - HC Greg Cumpstone
5:30 - 6:00: exit field head indoors prepare for dinner
6:00 - 7:00: Dinner
7:00 - 8:00: Rest, recover for session 2
8:00 - 10:00 PM: UPSL KO Elites Men’s Training session

July 21st - Day 2

12:45 PM: Arrival Day 2
1:00 - 2:30: Geoff Wheeler (Wesleyan) Q & A, Jonathan Murray (Yale)
2:30 - 3:00: Walk to Xavier for Admissions discussion
3:00 - 4:00 Xavier HS Admissions, tour

7:00 - 9:00 PM: NECSL Men’s U23 training session, XG Sports discussion
