Kamali Webson

Kamali joins Vale for his 1st full year as an Assistant Director at Vale East and Assistant Coach with the East High School teams. Kamali brings loads of experience and knowledge to the club.

Kamali started his coaching career at Needham High School as an Assistant with the Boys Varsity team form 2014-2020 where he helped lead the team to the 2018 D1 state final. During his time, Needham reached 5 state quarter-finals and 3 state semi-finals. He coached and developed 3 High school All-Americans, 5 all-region and 10 all-state players. During that time, Kamali also coached at Total Football Soccer from 2016-2020. He then joined the Northeastern University Men’s Soccer team coaching staff. At Northeastern, Webson helped lead the Huskies to an 11-6-2 overall record during the 2021 season. The 11 wins marked the fifth-most victories in program history and the No. 2 seed earned by the team in the Colonial Athletic Association Championship was tied for a program best. Overall, the Huskies recorded 40 goals scored and a plus 13 goal differential in 2021, the second highest total in the CAA. Four Northeastern players finished in the top ten in the CAA for goals scored and three finished in the top ten for assists, including number one and two. Seven Huskies earned places on All-CAA teams following the season. Kamali then joined the UConn Men’s Soccer team in Fall 2022 where he is currently the Assistant Coach.

He played for MPS Boston Bulldogs during his youth career then continued playing at Roger Williams University from 2010-2012 where he was a 1st Team All Conference, 1st Team All New England, and 2012 D3 All American. He then moved onto Hawaii Pacific University, was a USL Combine participant, played in 2014 for KF Fjallabyggdar in Iceland, and for the Antigua & Barbuda Men’s National Team in 2012 & 2014.

Kamali holds his 11v11 & National Diplomas through United States Coaches, and has his E, D, and Director of Coaching Licenses.

Kamali is a graduate of Roger Williams University with a degree in Marine Biology and of University of Missouri in 2019 with a Master’s Degree in Positive Coaching & Athletic Leadership.
